Unit 1: An Introduction to Workplace Harassment

This unit explains what constitutes workplace harassment, including various types and the legal definition of sexual harassment. It also covers the importance of training, how to develop a harassment policy, and how to handle both genuine and false complaints effectively.

Unit 2: Mediation Process

In this unit, learners will understand the basics of mediation, how to select a mediator, and the steps involved in resolving conflicts through mediation. It also explores complaint investigation, reporting processes, and practical techniques to create fair solutions through skilful application.

Completing the Workplace Harassment QLS Level 1 course opens pathways into HR, compliance, and workplace safety roles. Graduates can pursue careers as HR assistants, employee relations specialists, or workplace mediators. This foundational knowledge is valuable for those entering human resources, management, or legal support roles, where understanding harassment laws and conflict resolution is critical.
