Course Syllabus

The level 2 certificate in travel and tourism consists of four units;

Unit 1: Introduction to Travel and Tourism

This Unit 1 takes a wide chance at the 21st century travel and the travel industry segment, analyzing its ongoing history and continuous significance in the present society. Applicants likewise think about run of the mill reasons and inspirations for voyaging, the various kinds of the travel industry and why some household and universal goals are viewed as more alluring and engaging than others.

Unit 2: Tourism Products & Services

Unit 4 – Transport Management

The core of the final unit of this course is logistics. This unit introduces the development, organization and marketing of the different transport options available in the industry. Candidates are introduced to the pros and cons of the different transport types, and how to manage common transport management-related issues.

Career Path

A level 2 certificate in travel and tourism is a recognised qualification that can pave the way into the unlimited possibilities in the travel and tourism industry. With a level 2 certificate, you may work as a customer care representative, travel agent, sales coordinator or a holiday representative. The list is endless. The salary options with a level 2 qualification is quite attractive, ranging from the sums of  £18,000 to £50,000.
