Fashion and Design Course

This course consists of the following units:

Module 1: Foundations of Fashion Design & Industry Insight

This module introduces learners to the world of fashion design, exploring the history, evolution, and global impact of the fashion industry while laying the foundation for advanced study.

Module 2: Design Elements, Principles & Creative Expression

Students will learn the core design elements and principles, using them to enhance creativity and develop unique personal expression in fashion design projects.

Module 3: Dress Design, Colour Theory & Style Planning

This module covers dress design techniques and colour theory, guiding learners to create stylish, balanced, and trend-aware fashion collections.

Candidates can work as designers at any design firm earning an annual wage of £36,500 for starters or work in other sectors like education. They can also decide to gain further knowledge by partaking in the higher levels of Fashion Design.

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
