Online Accounting Course for Beginners

The Award in Accounting and Finance consists of 2 units. They are:

 Unit 1: Introduction to Accounting

As a starter to the world of accounting, candidates are taken through its fundamentals, key concepts, and its relativity to other areas of human endeavour. Also, they are exposed to different regulatory bodies, their functions and how they can be properly utilised in solving financial crises.

Unit 2: Tools for Financial Analysis

In unit 2, candidates are taught the step-by-step procedure for analysing the financial statement of any enterprise. Also, they are exposed to how to use tools such as ratio analysis, trend analysis, vertical analysis, horizontal analysis, etc. to demystify the complexities that could be encountered in analysing any financial statement.

Upon completing our endorsed accounting courses for beginners, candidates are poised to benefit from the incredible possibilities inherent in the industry. They can use their skills to secure entry-level roles as cashiers, accountants, finance and accounting intern, junior project accountant amongst others. The salary ranges from £20,000 to £50,000 or more, depending on candidates’ level of expertise.
