The Award in Project Management consists of the following 2 units:

Unit 1: An overview of Project Management

The first unit introduces candidates to the fundamental concepts, tools and techniques in Project Management. The role of project managers to design, plan, monitor, and conclude projects is expounded. The importance of efficient project management to organisations is also discussed.

Unit 2: Phases of Project Life Cycle

The last unit of the course investigates the project life cycle. Each of the core components of the cycle – initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and final closure is explored. The life cycle describes high-level processes for delivering successful projects..
