Construction Short Course

The course syllabus contains two very essential topics. They are:

Unit 1: Construction Management - An Introduction

Unit one welcomes candidates to the world of construction management by introducing them to various key concepts. The contribution of construction management to the success of projects is also elaborated along with the roles and responsibilities, and must-have skills and qualities of construction managers. 

Unit 2: Organisation of Construction Projects

Adequate and well-planned organisation is the bedrock of outstanding project. With this in mind, the second and last unit takes a critical look at the organisation of construction projects, which includes the planning of construction activities while taking into some factors into considerations.

The award in construction management is a stepping stone to achieving greater heights in the construction industry. On completing the course, candidates can choose to enrol in more advanced courses to acquire more skills and thus earn better pay. There are no shortages of work in the construction sector, hence, candidates may also prefer to find entry-level positions and earn between £15,500 and £20,000 annually.
