The level 4 diploma in travel and tourism is divided into eight units;

Unit 1: Introduction to Travel & Tourism

 Unit 4 - Handling Tour Operations

Unit 3 covers the handling/management of tour operations within the travel and tourism industry. This unit introduces candidates to the importance and management of relationships with key suppliers.  Unit 3 also explores training, management of tour packages and marketing, recruitment, and manpower.

Unit 5 - Marketing in Tourism

The fourth unit professionally investigates marketing in the travel and tourism sector. Candidates learn the rudiments of effective marketing strategy, how to professionally plan and carry out market research, analyse strategy effectiveness and implement effective promotional activities.

Unit 6 - Customer Quality Management

This unit revolves around the importance of quality customer service to tourism products, packages and services. Candidates are taught quality management, how to provide premium customer service, how to identify and assess the needs of the customer, and how to manage customer-related challenges.

Unit 7 - Human Resource Management Strategies

In Unit six, candidates learn how to manage the human resources available within the industry. The unit explores emphasizes the importance of hr, various hr strategies, and training and education of available human resources. At the end of this unit, candidates should be able to effectively apply professional hr to work within the industry.

Unit 8 - Transport Management

The focus of the final unit of this course is transport and logistics. Candidates learn the principles and transport options available in the industry. Each transport option is explored to determine its pros and cons. Candidates also learn the management of transport service provision.
